Cultural Fest 2016
Final Assembly 2015
Scenes of celebration from the last assembly for 2015 with the last group of Top Kids and a special farewell for Mrs Buckley and Mrs Gould. After 27 years and 30 years of hard work and loyal service to Chapel Downs School, they have both now decided it is time for them to retire at the end of the school year. They so enjoyed the performances from the Kapa Haka and Pasifika groups and would like to thank the children for all their hard work and all the beautiful cards that were made and presented to them – 20 November 2015.
2015 has been another action packed and exciting year. Here we have photos from our Junior and Senior Prize Givings/Year 6 Graduation where we celebrated children’s achievements in academic, cultural, and sporting excellence. What wonderful occasions these were with so many parents and families attending to share in the entertainment and celebrations of their children’s success.
Happy Holidays to everyone and farewell from Mrs Gould.

Ngā Kete Wānanga Marae Visit
On March 18th, all Year 5 students had a very special opportunity to visit the Ngā Kete Wānanga Marae at the Manukau Institute of Technology in Otara.
The visit to the Marae links to our school vision of acknowledging and learning aboutthe unique position and significance of Māori culture in New Zealand.
